Default Infrared, sort of- cactus out back

I read this in a book but I do not think it worked right. I took the image in sepia in the camera. I held a dark red filter over the lens while shooting. Then I put it into photoshop and auto levels was supposed to turn it bright reddish with blue highlights and white. Well, I fiddled with the levels since there is no auto levels in RAW, and arrived at this pleasing black and white. It has sort of an infrared look, don't you think?

I think this is great. Think you could do it again? I like the tonality and, withal, the cactus in the middle of the foresty background -- what's a nice guy like him doing in a place like that?? DId you say what you were shooting with?

I think I can do it again. I shall try. I used my Panasonic TZ3 because my M8 is still at Leica being repaired. The person who wrote about it used a Canon G3, which I also have. I intend to give that one a try too just for fun.
Thank you for your comment and glad you like it.
