Wow!

Beautiful colours, from the "painted" sky to the subtle shore.

Love it.

Andy,

A beautifully produced image that shows what the DMR is capable of. I'm particularly impressed with the smooth transition from orange through to blue, even at this resolution. This is reminiscent of an HDR image - is it?

Pete.

Thanks guys. Mother Nature is responsible for the blue/orange thing. The DMR just captures it.

Not an HDR image - just Billy Basic DMR.

In the full res version, you can see the wind farm on the horizon. The DMR really is a remarkable thing.

I can see the wind farm on this web version (I know where to look) big respect to the DMR. I'll start the weight training tomorrow.

Andy -

In the past you've posted many of the best lighthouse photos I've ever seen. This one is stunning. I've already saved it to show to Barbara.

Thank you. We just go here to walk the dog.

The rest just happens - I always have a camera with me to record what's happening around me, while the dog chases gulls...

Fantastic photo. Did you do something to enhance the colors? What is the green stuff, Moss or grass?

Anyway a very fine photograph.

Very nice Andy, another one for the New Brighton tourist board! Pity about what was behind you when you took this <grin>.

Thanks

The green stuff is seaweed - this whole area is under water at high tide.

Fantastic shot, with your trademark skill at composition and exposure. The thought that it was HDR had occured to me as well. The DMR is clearly a very powerful capability when it is in your hands.
