Default Off the West of Ireland

By fiddling about with Levels, Shadows and Highlights and Contrast settings I've managed to produce some digital "grain".

You've also managed to produce a nice image, with good levels of contrast and tone.

I told you it was worth persevering

PSE6 is loads better than PSE4.

Very effective grain, Pete, and a very pleasant view that brings to mind the setting of the film The Quiet Man. Is this the isle of Inisheer perhaps?

Pete, no that is much larger. I think that it might be the island referred to here:

Oh it's one of the Blasket Islands off the coast of Kerry - a bit further south than I was assuming but a part of the world I hold particulalry dear. Thanks for clarifying, Pete.
