Reden Italian colors and textures

The title says it all - old, colorful, textured italian doors and locks. A couple images here:

all with the M8 and various lenses.

the rest is here, together with doors from various countries as well:

Vieri -

Terrific series, lovely colors and textures, all geometrically consonant with the format.

I agree with Stuart. The compositions are really nice -- interesting without being stereotyped. Excellent use of lines and placement of objects.

Thank you Stuart, glad you enjoyed them! How did you like the absence of WM in these?

Superb colors and patterns, heightened and moulded by a great light.
Pleasing and interesting shots.

First of all, I will say that I am partial to this subject, admiring those who do this well as I have never been able to carry it out successfully myself. These are really nicely done and the texture and light are truly enjoyable. Beautiful.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Thanks a lot Conrad, I am actually putting together a book with subjects like this - I will of course let the forum know about it when it's ready. Thanks again for viewing and commenting, very much appreciated!

Nice work, Vieri. The similar compositions and perspective make for a strong series. And the first three would make a lovely tryptich.
