Jean -

Based on the title I expected something much more ordinary. However, this is a perfect example of how to use a 35 mm lens. Terrific light, color, depth, DOF and composition.

The difficult light with lot of contrast is well mastered here !

Jean, had it been possible, I would have been tempted to raise the camera position just enough to deconflict the foreground cow from the ones in the background.

I have to say that I usually associate 'Pyrenean' with mountain dogs. Where are they?

Jean,

Interesting idea. Great to see you back!!! Is it possible to lighten the foreground slightly without killing the contrast?
