Horst -
Based on the quality of this photo I certainly hope you post much more frequently. The limited color range (only one family of colors), the repeating pattern of the boats, the angle splitting the image into two triangles, catching the shot at the ideal time for the color and for the still water, and then to even get two carp in the photo! Wonderful. Where in Japan? |

Hmmm..Hoarst..knowing your photography, and you've posted some amazing shots in the old forum..I think your the same person..anyhow I've seen you post much better.

Stuart, I liked your execellent explanation of the image. I could not describe it better. The photo was taken in Bandai Asahi National Park, my favourite place for landscape photography. Regards, Horst |
