Couldn't show these earlier.

Taken on the Saturday morning

Andy....I certainly like the first shot which is much stronger graphically. You are certainly a photographer that sees the minutiae within a scene. As a purist myself, I hope you didn't plant the leaf there! I could see this style in one of your shots on your website, within your 'France' album of a poppy in a cornfield. I do like looking 'into' a scene, as you appear to in some of your work. Well done indeed!

I most certainly did not plant the leaf there.

Thanks for looking at the France photos, by the way. Not many people get that far into my site

Both lovely shots; allusion with fallen leaves is very poignant.

By the way Andy, I have also placed a comment on your website, on the first Lighthouse shot in the section named 'Perch Rock Lighthouse'

It really is a place that invites you to be creative with form isn't it. I didn't stay there longer than about 20 minutes, but I shot a lot of photographs.

These are to your usual excellent standard, though I do wonder if the first might be better without the leaf - to emphasise the bleakness of the coffin like structures.

Thanks for sharing them.

Probably got one like that somewhere.

It was the dead, dry leaf on the block that really said something to me, though.
