I submit that this thread become a permanent fixture of the "Landscape and Travel" forum, so we can add to it with appropriate, worthwhile images when we encounter them, much like "Mountains of the world' and "how about a thread full of Trees'. I think this could be good fun

 

Without any desire to hijack this thread or to compete, but to perpetuate a subject full of potential interest, permit me to add an image I took last Sunday during a truly enjoyable & very spirited drive in the 911 on my own secret suspension-testing road in western Marin County, California, North of the Golden Gate.
