fotografr Posted March 28, 2015 Share #1 Posted March 28, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I flew into LaGuardia last Sunday for a plane change on a very clear day. I'd have preferred to have the time of day be just before sunset or right after sunrise, but wasn't able to convince the pilot to alter his time. VL114 Welcome, dear visitor! Bill W Posted March 28, 2015 Share #2 Posted March 28, 2015 Pilots tend to be very focused individuals. A very nice shot considering it was taken from the window of a plane.
platypus Posted March 28, 2015 Share #3 Posted March 28, 2015 Great shot! It reminds me of the first time I ever saw New York from the air, also on approach to La Guardia, back in in 1968..... an utterly mind blowing experience for a girl from the sticks, I've never forgotten it, as you can tell!

fotografr Posted March 29, 2015 Author Share #6 Posted March 29, 2015 Quite lovely. The tall one is the new WTC1 - Liberty Tower. Yes, and it's really quite beautiful--a lasting tribute to all the lives lost when the twin towers went down. By the way, I hope New Yorkers will forgive my misspelling of Manhattan.
