We have "farms" in certain areas of California. But, in the grand scheme of things there is really no obvious way to produce clean/renewable energy, something that we all voraciously need and consume in ever-growing amounts. Truth be told I love these things, I find them utterly beautiful and quite magic in their hugeness and perfection of form. It has just been such an odd experience to have them appear so suddenly, just a matter of about six months for 162 turbines to be installed and working. They are still (as I said) a surprise to see, and a novelty.
