Breaking Storm.

Paul, Ali, Iduna....thank you for your comments and thanks to those who looked...and then hit the "thanks" button.....all much appreciated!

The situation is not serious!! merely inconvenient. The river level drops after a few days, leaving a mess, trees, branches and stuff, to be cleared away....just a nuisance.

The creek crossing is more serious but we can crawl across in 4WD for the time being. We are quite used to being cut off by this sort of flash flooding and make sure retain adequate

stocks of consumables against the possibility of it occurring. This amount of rainfall at this time of the year is such a blessing!

Stig, Stuart, John, XVarior, Louis and Bill....thank you for your kind comments. Thanks also to those that hit the "thanks" button recently.

I am delighted that you all appreciate this image, the combination of our beautiful Monaro high plains landscape and a good big storm cell

is amazingly powerful...it's a great opportunity to which I always hope to do justice with my photographs.

Bill.....I'm pretty sure the MM and APO 50 combo help with the above!!

Thanks Mark....maybe you will be able to get out of town these coming holidays...and find yourself somewhere in the Great Australian Landscape with your Leica gear??

After my new little 28/2.8 arrived last week I caught myself thinking that the next thing I'd like would be a 50 Lux....you see it's hopeless! I'd be prepared to bet that you have acquired an APO50 by this time next year.
