Echo63 Posted October 31, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 31, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have been trying to get back to Lesmurdie falls, after my disappointment in last visit's pictures (it was raining on and off, quite heavily in patches) with the changing of the seasons, there isn't as much water flowing over the rocks, but i am much happier with the pictures i achieved this time around, all shot around sunset, with my M240 and 50 Summarit #1 is a stitched image, 3 pics wide by 5 high #2 and #3 are bits of the creek on the walk to the falls #4 is while i was waiting for the sun to almost set. C+C welcome, and thanks for looking ! Welcome, dear visitor! Echo63 Posted November 1, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted November 1, 2014 A beautiful set. How long was the sutter speed in the water photos? However long i could get at 200iso, f16 and with a polariser on the lens - it worked out to be 4 seconds for the big stitched one (#1) 2 seconds for #2 and 3 seconds for #3 Thanks for the comments guys ! Jan W. Tromp Posted November 7, 2014 Share #6 Posted November 7, 2014 Again water this way. Let me tell you that water (IMO) does not look like this. Technical OK.

Let me tell you that water (IMO) does not look like this.Technical OK. You are correct, water does not look silky like that. it moves, and changes from one second to the next. taking pictures of moving water means making a choice, between freezing the motion, and letting it run and turn milky like this - i prefer the look of the blurred water, however it may not be to everyones taste.
