Advertisement Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Hi ShawnK, Take a look here Rodin. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Toshack10 Posted October 23, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2014 Interesting perspective... Wonder if the plinth is designed to make art less accessible!
ShawnK Posted October 23, 2014 Author Share #3 Posted October 23, 2014 Thanks. The plaque says the usual things along with the date in 1970, when a bomb damaged the legs. In lieu of repairing, the Museum opted to leave the damaged sculpture as is. May be that is why it is sitting high, though I was sitting on the floor with 24mm lens on M (type240), no crop POV is exaggerated.
pauledell Posted October 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2014 Excellent perspective, colors and sharpness. Paul
stuny Posted October 23, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 23, 2014 Beautiful. Philadelphia has a lovely Rodin museum on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, a boulevard which also has the Barnes Collection, the Franklin Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. You were only about 1000 km away and you didn't stop in to see me!
