The Honey Locust trees in our neighborhood are dropping leaves like a monsoon rain, making the streets and sidewalks look like they are paved with gold.

Now I know why I love autumn so much. Beside the beauty of the locust trees and their leaves, I have the privilege of raking these little gems up in my front yard for a month or so. Ever so much fun.

The worst part is if you happen to leave your car out for a few hours when these leaves are falling. They manage to get into every crevice and opening.
