A few pictures from a day trek in the french Alps, near the Mont Blanc.

Happily the altitude clouds cleared early afternoon for a few glimpses of the peaks.

In order :

- A view on the Aravis range

- fugitive view of the Mont Blanc's peak through clouds

- the peak of Varan 7800ft.

- the old fountain at 5000 ft.

All with D-Lux6.

Although the beautiful landscape helps, the perspectives you chose are excellent. So is the tonality of the bw pics.

Thanks for your appreciations. For small size pictures a D-Lux is really good but i still miss the proper composition through a viewfinder. So the last model may be better from that p.o.v. with the e-viewfinder.
