Dringo Posted July 30, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 30, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm new to the forum (and to Leica) so I'd thought I'd say "hi" and post this picture up from one of the first outings with the Leica M. Lots to learn coming from a Nikon D800! Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi Dringo, Take a look here South Stack Lighthouse, Anglesey, North Wales. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted July 30, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2014 Welcome to the Forum, and based on this lovely image I look forward to seeing many more of your photos. I'm going to look at this again tonight on a better monitor. On this monitor it feels just slightly washed out. If that really is the case, a slight increase in shadow slider will remedy that. Aliturk Posted July 30, 2014 Share #3 Posted July 30, 2014 Hi. I've also come from the D800. I find it's not so much what one needs to learn, but what one needs to forget when coming to a camera such as this. For me, it took a little while to get used to centre weighted metering. pauledell Posted July 31, 2014 Share #5 Posted July 31, 2014 Welcome to the forum. This is a marvelous picture but I agree with Stuart, it seems a bit washed out, but nothing that a bit of post processing magic by darkening it a bit.
