West coast of Scotland - Eilean Donan castle

Leica M7 & 35mm Summicron - Kodak Ektar

This was taken from the car park at about 8am which is about the only time, during daylight hours, that it is not packed with coaches and cars.

Thanks for the comments. With a bit of sunshine you can't go wrong on Scotland's west coast. I still find Ektar trickier than Fuji Sensia was when it comes to scanning and getting consistent results. I could try Portra160 which I believe gives more muted colours which isn't such a bad thing.

Yes Howard, the Portra is much more easier for scanning, Ektar gave me in most cases worse colour.

I think I will pick up some rolls of Portra160. I've tended to use Ektar because it's rated at ISO100 and as I used Sensia 100 for many years I've got a good idea what the exposure should be when the sun shines.

Don't worry, the Portra is very forgiving in exposure, much more than the Ektar which tends to strange colours being not exposed correctly
