Exquisite! It's also amazing that after 4 1/2 hours mine is only the second comment.

Maybe the title aggravated some members..............

I'm curious as to why you think that you can't (assume you meant to type can't) get the same image with a Canon or Nikon?
James I am sure you CAN but there is something in the way that Leica pictures just smells Leica.

For me if you put two similar pictures side by side I would be able to say which one is shot with a Leica............I am not knocking Nikon or canon, I have a dry cabinet full of Nikon equipment but again IMOHO they just don't take pictures like a Leica

If someone runs a controlled study to look into your claim, and the result shows that people are significantly more likely to pick Leica pictures accurately, then that's the only way your claim would have merrit. Otherwise, it is totally pointless, IMO, and distracts from the beauty of your image.

I do agree with Dee, or it looks a bit too dark on my monitor.

Excellent image!

Wow, a brave statement. ;)

I would say that I often say "yes, of course" when I learn that it was shot with a Leica.

But I doubt that I could tell beforehand, to be honest. I might have a suspicion, though.

Several years ago I compared the 35mm/ f2 Nikon vs the 35mm Summicron as well as the 50mm/f2 Nikon vs the 50mm Summicron on a Nikon F3HP vs Leica M6.using Ilford FB4 film. In each case, the Leica camera and lenses were noticeably better in contrast as well as acutance and sharpness. I have always rested my case on that test. I can't relate to digital cameras.
