In Southern France there is a bullfight called Course Camarguaise. As opposed to the Spanish bullfight this is bloodless and the bull leaves the arena alive and not dead. After the bull has entered the arena, young men dressed in white clothes try with enormous skill and speed to wrench cockades and tassels from the horns of the bull. Often, only a jump across the boards saves the young men from getting injured by the bull. Especially aggressive and belligerent bulls sometimes follow...
