Thanks both!

While conducting our "2013 April Eastern Tibet Cultural/Photographic Expedition" earlier this month when passing by Lhasa, in the hotel I arranged for our group, the manager who's family has been friends of mine for a long time in Tibet, insisted to upgrade me to the room on the top middle facing the Palace, so a window view at dawn or dusk was very convenient indeed...

The only thing was that should have taken a photo a bit earlier with more of the blue hint of sky, but with the busy schedules we had while in the city we could not come back to the hotel early enough for that. However the unique visual experience of seating in the room viewing out the large window to the Palace was a spectacularly comfortable and interesting experience, more important than just taking some photos.

Good day!

You may go to my: Series 5 Photo Gallery

to select the "Western China 2007..." that photo-diary relating to Tibet, and you'll be able to see some of those photos.

I have some from the just completed "2013 April Eastern Tibet Cultural/Photographic Expedition" I led to, but have not yet able to put the snapshots into a "Photo-diray" yet. I'd like to keep you posted when I am able to do that. Meanwhile, I could posted couple loose shots just for fun with everyone to share as well.
