torre Posted March 14, 2013 Share #1 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) My first post. Hope I do it right... (nervous) A short trip to AZ late september. Travelled with only M9, lux 35 FLE and elmar 135 4.0 (first version). My brother hauled a big canon equipment. This was my first photo trip with a light 2 lens combo. Worked really good except that I missed my 75 a couple of times, but it is really refreshing to have just 2 lenses to choose from. Hope you enjoy Sedona Welcome, dear visitor! a.j.z Posted March 14, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 14, 2013 Welcome to the Forum! This is a very good series. I particularly like the first and the horse/rider but the others are good, too.
pauledell Posted March 14, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 14, 2013 Torre, Welcome to the forum. An excellent series in which all were good. I liked the first with the traffic lights and the re light runner camera, the one with the truck in the foreground and the moon, the train picture and the picture of the canyon (you would not catch me that close to the edge). StS Posted March 14, 2013 Share #5 Posted March 14, 2013 (edited) Hi Torre, this is an excellent and very diverse series, showing a large variation of original views. I think, I can speak for everyone here, that we would be highly interested to see more pictures. Stefan Edited March 14, 2013 by StS
torre Posted March 14, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted March 14, 2013 Thanks everyone for your nice words. Means a lot! I will gladly post more pictures soon. In part I wanted to show how underrated the Elmar 135 is. It is a gem for the small amount of money it can be found (but also a bit bizarre looking..) Northwest Wanderer Posted March 14, 2013 Share #7 Posted March 14, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) The bridge/walkway image is exceptional. It could go b&w and still look great. Nice collection overall.

torre Posted March 15, 2013 Author Share #10 Posted March 15, 2013 The bridge/walkway image is exceptional. It could go b&w and still look great.Nice collection overall. Thanks all. The picture of the bridge was a lucky snapshot of my brother walking ahead. This picture I found came out very special and it looks great in b/w as well. The other reason for being special to me is that when I leaned my walking sticks against the rail to shoot one of them actually slipped down into the slow river taking a 5 meter dive. Took me 30 minutes and a ice cold wade to be back on track. Thank god I didn't drop my lens...

Paul Thanks. The picture if the truck is actually taken through the window when passing. Those polished trailers glows beautifully when the sun is setting
