Iduna Posted February 9, 2013 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2013 Keith, the picture is very good in composition, its rich details and the shining light at the background. If you have a wamer B&W version I would like to see the difference because I am afraid I would then prefer the other toning. But these things are very personal thoughts. This "selenium" workout on the other hand is giving it a slightly distant touch which is also very convincing.
pauledell Posted February 10, 2013 Share #3 Posted February 10, 2013 Keith, An excellent picture with great composition, details and clarity but the toning does not help this in my opinion, Perhaps a slight tinge of blue or a cold neutral tone. platypus Posted February 10, 2013 Share #4 Posted February 10, 2013 Personally I like your toning. It lends a rather unearthly glow to the image and is certainly different.
Keith (M) Posted February 10, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted February 10, 2013 Thank you all for the comments. I did make a straight b&w version too - my internal jury is still out as to which I prefer!
