k-hawinkler Posted January 31, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 31, 2013 Stuart, Very nice shots. An interesting place to visit for sure. I have been there but had only Nikon gear at the time.
pauledell Posted January 31, 2013 Share #3 Posted January 31, 2013 Stuart, Beautiful shots of a fascinating place. But don't do what we did many years ago and visit it during the last of July. Was I stupid! The air temperature exceeded 125 F and it was so hot that our feet almost blistered when stepping onto the pavement. The only moving objects I seen were a pair of Marine fighters that flew over so low, I could feel the blast from their jet engines. platypus Posted February 1, 2013 Share #5 Posted February 1, 2013 What an amazing country the USA is for the landscape photographer. Wish I could afford the trip. But your images are the next best thing. Thanks. Regards, Dee.
stuny Posted February 1, 2013 Author Share #6 Posted February 1, 2013 Dee - thank you. You might want to go into our website and view some of the North America galleries. We're rather partial to your country and have been there seven times.

Olsen Posted February 10, 2013 Share #10 Posted February 10, 2013 I drove with a friend of mine across USA by car back in 91'. (I still tell my wife it was the best holiday I have ever had!). After having tried to visit Yosemite NP - which we could not enter due to snow. We then drove across Death Valley towards Las Vegas. We visited this particular spot; the lowest point in USA. - Had we taken north at the road cross ahead we would have approached Area 51 - which would not have been so smart (We did not know about it back then). Great shots, Stuart, that bring back memories.
