Sky over the sea

Chris,

 

Such a composition, half and half, isn't usual for me... Quite the opposite!

But in this so particular case, sky and sea were so imposing the one as the other.

I couldn't, nor wanted, let anyone prevail on the other in the image.

Neither of both could be the same without the other, as in a perfect balance.

It's what I thought in this moment, and still today.

Thanks a lot, Chris.

I took this one (and many more) from an helicoper, after a whalewatching tour.

The creatures were impressive, but these clouds and the sea... well, this was another dimension.

Yes the photo of the link resembles to some of mines. Many photographers and painters we are attracted with the horizon of the sea. As many people, I suppose. From times ago.
