Default Chartwell IR

This is the sumptuous view overlooking the croquet lawn at Chartwell, Sir Winston Churchill's former home in Kent. I feel that the infrared pass filter produces an eerie yet appealing 'wintery' look, as though there has been a fresh snow-fall, although the image was made today in early spring with not a snowflake for months.

Thanks for looking and your comments are welcome.

M8, 28/2.8 Elmarit ASPH, 1/125th @ f11, ISO 640.

Like the compositions + the IR impact on the lighting.

Pete -

I very much like that "eerie & wintry look". At first I was stunned by #1. Then I scrolled down and liked #2 better, though I don't know why. Lovely.
