Advertisement Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hi allamande, Take a look here A Gate (Ghost Ranch) -at sunset. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
pauledell Posted January 13, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 13, 2012 Ece, A lovely color version of what I would expect to see from an Ansel Adams or Edward Weston scene in b&w. I like the colors, composition and clarity. If it was cold there as you photographed this, just come to my neck of the woods this morning. With the wind chill, its -4* F. Marquinius Posted January 13, 2012 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2012 Puff, and here's me thinking it was warm over there ... Wonderful to see how you stayed in color, while this would have been a B&W for me, initially.

allamande Posted January 15, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted January 15, 2012 Paul, Marco, and Ben, Thank you for your kind words. This was literally the last seconds of sunlight before the sun disappeared behind the mountains. I liked the glow of the rocks against the snow. Paul, even though it was cold, it never reached the lows you are describing (thankfully!). I don't think my fingers could operate in that kind of cold (I am not too sure about the camera either). Stay warm! Ece
