marc_dufour Posted January 3, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted January 3, 2012 Thank you so much, Martin. In this trip to Norway, I found skies really fantastic. I hope you enjoy the camera as I do ! And if you use it with Leica R lenses, I have some questions to ask you :-)
stuny Posted January 3, 2012 Share #4 Posted January 3, 2012 Marc - Beautiful. It deserves to be enlarged, printed, framed and placecd on a wall.
marc_dufour Posted January 3, 2012 Author Share #5 Posted January 3, 2012 Stuart, Thank you very much. We're lucky with the weather: almost no rainy days, but great and awesome skies....
martin Posted January 3, 2012 Share #6 Posted January 3, 2012 I have to go to norway, your photos are really good. With my 5DII I seldom use Leica lenses, I wanted to do that, yes of course it was one of the main reasons to by it, I also bought a Novoflex lense adaptor but somehow the measurering of the camera is strange. My favorit lense is the 24-105 L lense from canon, it is so good that I don't have to change it, if you want you can see many examples on my flickr account. marc_dufour Posted January 3, 2012 Author Share #8 Posted January 3, 2012 (edited) Martin, I asked about 5D and R lenses because I've some trouble, using a Leitax adapter. Although all it's OK regarding manual focus, I can't get its confirmation in the viewfinder. And another strange trouble is, more I close the diaphragm, more the try camera try to compense, overexposing. I had a quick loook to your flick page, I've to see it more quietly. I've been surprised, finding your ECM work. 20 years ago, I was adict to this label, and still have a lot of wonderful LP's :-) A last thing: I visited a little part of Schwarzwald, in August, coming home from Norway. I just wanted to show to my wife the beautiful place where I was in military service, a long time ago ! And don't doubt, go to Norway, with a lot of available Gb's ;-) Thanks for all. pauledell Posted January 7, 2012 Share #11 Posted January 7, 2012 Marc, A lovely shot, I like the low horizon that allows the dramatic clouds with the beautiful lighting in the background sky. I can find several emotions as I look at this. With the dark dynamic clouds, I can find a certain excitement but with the calm sea, I find a serenity and even loneliness about it. marc_dufour Posted January 7, 2012 Author Share #12 Posted January 7, 2012 Andrew, Thanks, I'm glad you like it Paul, Thank you so much. You have the skill to describe with words what I felt but only can express with pictures.

marc_dufour Posted January 8, 2012 Author Share #16 Posted January 8, 2012 K-H I didn't know 500px. I just had a look to your pictures here, and really liked it, so I looked for you real name before to answer your kind comment (K-H is a little impersonal!) and just found the 500px in Google. You've great photos there. Congrats! Best regards, PS: As your firm is K-H here, I finally decided to respect it.

k-hawinkler Posted January 8, 2012 Share #18 Posted January 8, 2012 Hi Marc, Thanks for your explanation and kind comment. My complete first name is not a secret around here on this forum. It is just a little long and, unusually for the US, has a hyphen in the middle. So, I thought I make it easy for everybody and use the abbreviation I have used all my life. With best regards, Karl-Heinz.
