jimofnyc Posted October 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) New Orleans is, for the most part, a hot and humid town. During the 'dead' of winter temperatures may dip slightly below freezing. (maybe that is why the bugs grow so big down there?) This photo of St. Louis Cathedral is composed of two frames - top and bottom - taken with my M8 and 35mm Summicron M asph and stitched together with Panavue's Image Assembler program. Only the Banana trees have been scorched back by the "cold". In a month or two they'll be back growing and green again. Jim
Advertisement Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Hi jimofnyc, Take a look here Jackson Square in New Orleans. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Sailronin Posted October 3, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 3, 2011 Lovely shot, great detail. The flagpole has a bit of a blip from stitching, otherwise would be impossible to tell. Very nice shot.
stuny Posted October 3, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 3, 2011 Jim - Taken from those risers across the street, and beautiful. My similar shot is wider and taken very early in the day, and as a result looks like a Yamada or Delacroix.
