Miles and miles of nothing. Just me and my wife, perhaps a dot on the far horizon that could be another couple, turning away to stay alone as well, no doubt.

 

After having been immersed in the typical Dutch sensory overload, being alone for hours on end is bliss, pure bliss. Even Christine wanted to be alone, just a few steps away from me, but just alone for a few moments no less.

 

As I said: bliss.

Cool capture. I sort of find myself wanting some sort of focal object, such as a person or tree or whatever. But that's just I. It definitely has an "out there" feeling.

So a question: I thought there is a focal point (i.e. my wife on the right)? And it really needs that, as without her, it indeed is a VERY empty beach without anything to focus on.
