Default the ultimate tourists

I recently purchased a 15mm VL lens for my MP and was anxious to try it out, I have never owned a lens this wide. It is also the shortest lens I have ever owned. This photo became a comedy of errors....first when Jan threw himself on the grass before the monument (he didn't see me) and then when I inadvertantly got my fingers in the field...(I knew it as soon as I clicked the shutter)....however, when I got the photo back, i realized that the fingers appear to be sizing up the monument which seemed appropriate as this is John D Rockefeller's monument in Lake View Cemetery here in Cleveland. It is the tallest monument in the cemetary (70 ft?). Visitors often leave coins on the monument for 2 somewhat conflicting reasons that I have heard...1) He was always giving pocket change to kids he encountered or 2) he carefully controlled his money....

Jan gave up on his positioning here.....

Now that I see the post, I need to add that the unresized original scan does not have that matrix effect that you see in the sky.....can anyone give me some pointers as to how not to get that effect when resizing?

Susan,

A humorous pic indeed.

The 15 CV is a *fun* lens, and quite a decent little performer too. Enjoy.
