I like the scene. I am a fan of covered bridges, especially when taken with snow on the ground.

Allen -

Absolutely charming. Beautiful crop, color, light, depth and detail. Aren't Eastwood and Streep just off camera to the right?

Excellent! The soft shadows of the fence really lift this for me. Great light.

Allan,
Very nice. Being a fan of backlighting, this shot is my favorite. That film latitude is amazing.

Allan,

This is the best one so far. Agree with Paul. However, I do think I now know every plank in this bridge. How about the one on the other side of town? Any relief from the snow and ice yet?

Thank you everyone, for your comments.

Even William....

Actually I have thought of two other covered bridges since we spoke earlier today: one in Noblesville and the other in Fishers. I'll take a look at them over the weekend, though by then we'll not have much snow left.

Spring's just around the corner. Thank goodness!

Thanks.

Allan

Thanks a bunch! All I need is another seven inches of snow, sleet & ice. Knowing you, you probably got your car washed on Friday to guarantee it!
