Default Morning fog

Converted in BW desaturating.
Criticism is welcome.

Fernando -

Almost. This has lovely framing, mood and depth but I think it is a bit flat and needs a one degree rotation to the right, perhaps like this....

Thanks Stuart,
with "flat" you mean that there's no enough contrast?
Fernando.

I think he means that the tonal range could be improved by doing a proper B&W conversion instead of desaturating, and I agree - I think this photograph is worth the effort

I'm not keen on the pylon, its slap bang in the middle of the picture and the top is missing. Better if its all visible, and perhaps a bit to one side (on the thirds?) IMHO of course!

Fernando,

I think this is the beginning of a good composition but I find the picture has many distracting elements, none of them complimenting each other. I also agree that the tones need to be improved.

Cheers,

Fernando, do you like square format images ? If so, try this crop... From the left crop till just over the 2 or 3 trees that are behind the what seems like a pole. By this, you would have automatically moved the electricity pole to the left. A touch of contrast is also needed, to enhance it even more. More pleasing to the eye, IMHO.

Fernando,

My initial impulse is to remove the radio tower and wires. And then some local burning to define the forms better. Seems to me the potential lies in emphasizing the few simple forms. I agree you've got a good foundation here. Great atmosphere, too.

Ivan,
usually I don't like square images, but there are exceptions.
John,
thanks for the suggestions, I will try as soon as back to home, now some days of vacation.
Thanks all, and read/write you soon,
Fernando.
