Cloudy day over Ince

I have not stood on this side of the Mersey before. (Well, not this far inland). I need to come back when the light is better. My "To Do" list is growing by the day.

Interesting textures created by the clouds ! The fact that 2/3 of the image is dominated by the clouds makes it very intriguing and one looks very closely to the bottom part to identify what's going on there. A well composed picture all together and a brilliant tonal range .

The texture, light and dominance of the sky is terrific, especially how it dwarfs the land below, which you wisely left as just a small percentage of the shot.

Andy - wonderful clouds, with which those tiny smokestacks on the horizon cannot even begin to compete. Beautiful rich tones and composition. Thanx for showing.

Cloudy is putting it mildly! Wonderful cloud formation dwarfing the landscape to near insignificance.

Nicely set up and composed -- the clouds are the subject and terrestrial features are the background and reference point. The juxtaposition works.
