Default Portnahaven Church

Just been thinking about (and really looking forward to) this year's holiday and looking through some old stuff from the last time we were on the island.

This one was originally colour.

I am sure that this could be properly Rolofied, if only I had the skills

R8/28 Elmarit-R (non-ROM)/Velvia 50

Andy -

Lovely framing, full tonal range, contrast & DOF. The OK is interesting, but a bit jarring.

Thanks Stuart.

The "OK" was just painted on the wall. I have no idea why, but it offers an foil to the church.

Islay is a fabulous place. When we win the lottery, we will move here for good.

Andy - Lovely shot...I actually like the runic 'OK' just because it's jarring, illogical and senseless. Thanx for sharing.
cheers:
Sam

Andy,
I presume that was an invitation !

To be honest, there's not a lot one could improve on here as you'd made such a good job.

I appreciate that the purpose oof the image was to bring the OK sign to the viewers attention, but it just seems so out of place to me in such a rural scene. Having said that I recognise that the image needs a stronge foreground subject.

Play as I do, I'm not satisfied that this can benefit.
