Default 15mm Voigtlander at Yosemite

The Voitlander 15mm is quite impressive on the M8. This is a shot from my trip to Yosemite in December. Guy Mancuso lent me a M8 to shoot with. This was shot at sunrise, converted via Lightroom. The crop shows how sharp the 15mm is right into the corners of the M8 image.

A perfect example of how great this combination is. I love the CV 15 :

A very nice shot too.... can't wait to get back there one day...

That's incredible. Beautiful light capture. I'm going to South Carolina towards the end of Feb. for a shoot. Looks like I need to take a 15...

Hi Rob,

Nice shot of El-Capitan - looks like it was quite cold though.

Call me paranoid, but is the purple cast the result of the real ambient light, dust in the atmosphere, or of the M8's over-sensitiveness for IR?

Regards,
Masrcus

Leica CL + CV 15 is a great pocketable outfit for city strolling.

Canary Wharf London. Extachrome 100, metered with the CL 's meter with no compensation, and no filtering.

A lovely scene; very good to see yet more from the trip appearing.

Here is another from the same spot but a few minutes earlier. I might have held a Grad in front on the 15mm for this one. I played with the color balance and other adjustments in LightRoom until I was happy with the look.

There was a blob or two of dust on the sensor, but since it was not my camera, I didn't want to clean it in case I made it worse.
