The first shot is the best..the "grey film" needs to be stripped off the images in Photoshop.
The digital camera does this because of the intense light and slight overexposure..hence the "black and white points" are not properly calibrated. You could , before hand set a "manual white balance"..

Actually I do find the WB of the DMR not working perfectly. The color reproduces thru the DMR LCD is not accurate, and always has to be re-calibrated by Capture One.

At the auto WB mode, I always find the pictures taken are either too cold, or too warm. Seldom it shows the right color temperature at the LCD. Even at specified WB modes, like sunny, cloudy, etc it does not perform well. Sigh....

I hope the firmware 1.3 can solve this problem as well.
