Meeting / Events Project and the calendar

At the recent classic car meet, Falstaff proposed that we should have a collection of interesting events recorded around the country (why not the world!)

This would allow anyone visiting new places and areas to know if something interesting is going on. Running with bulls in Palermo for example.

We have the benefit of a calendar function here, and that might be a good place to start and while it could be a monumental task if one person were to trawl through billions of websites finding intersting events, if the whole community contribute, a useful collection will quickly be built up

So, if you know of anything interesting coming up, please post it in the calendar
