Default Manchester et al, Symposium - 25 April, 2008

There's a

Photography Symposium at Bradford Museum of Photography that might be of interest to many Leica users.:

Dramatic Reality: Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Today.

It's a Friday and it's an all day event. I've just booked a ticket at the box office and was the first to do so. At this moment there should be tickets left, but this will change.

If others are interested, we could travel as a group.

See: Events - Henri Cartier-Bresson's Scrapbook - National Media Museum

for the listing.

Sounds interesting Rolo, but I've got a new contract starting after Easter, so I can't make it. Off to near Warwick - should be more interesting than the hell hole that's Brent (apologies to anyone here from Brent).

Thanks Rolo, Does sound interesting but, like Steve, I'm alraedy committed to be in Cambridge on that day.

Congratulations on the new role Steve. Warwick is a good base for some interesting places for the summer months! look forward to seeing some Shakespearian scenes from you.

More Midsummer Night's Dream than King Lear I hope.

Shame this is on a Friday, otherwise I'd have come along.

Have booked a ticket – what cake do you fancy Rolo?
Still plenty of tickets left – speakers outnumber the audience at t'moment!

Dave, you've caught me off-guard. I'll have to consider the cake question and come back to you.

Lift is no problem. I understand we get t'special attention at this Leica event.

Bump!

There are still tickets available for this event – good opportunity to see the Cartier Bresson exhibition too.

Cakes will be baked shortly – so it's last call for requests.

I'm sorry that I can't manage this meet - I have a Rotary Charter Night dinner that evening in Porthmadog and I wouldn't be able to get back in time.
