Ideas time for sometime in April / May.
1. Jodrell Bank - last chance to see before The Department for Closing Things Down, erm, closes it down. Then onto 2. Little Moreton Hall (OK, NT, I know, I know...) Suggestions?

One weekend towards the end of April?
Any other bright ideas?

I have invited her, but not heard back yet.
I'm not sensing an overwhelming enthusiasm for this, I have to say ![]()

I've always found Jodrel a bit disappointing for photography, LMH suffers from the no photos policy of the NT, which I see as a challenge; there is hardly any furniture inside. Perhaps the two could be done together?
As both are only about 20 minutes from me I should have some insider-knowledge of photo-ops. The Japanese garden at Tatton Hall can be good on a nice day, maybe we could do that one as well? It's a NT property but members still have to pay. |

Sorry Andy - I've only just noticed this! It would be very happy with both these. Maybe am for one then on to somewhere for lunch and then the other place after lunch? End April/ early May would be fine for me.

Dave - a lift to/from anywhere won't be a problem.

Macaroons are us!
Another date for your collective diaries, Monday 5th May (BH) is the Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Rally/Show. Always lots of really nice old cars at Cheshire's best posh address and the Hall is included in the entry price of only £5. Gawsworth Hall - Ancient Cheshire Manor House That's a nice shot on their website, I wonder who....... ![]() |

Cheers – that would be great – perhaps we can sort something out a bit nearer the time.

Rumour has it that Spring may be 'pon us soon (OK, so we had daffodils and Bumble bees in February and we saw two Swallows last Sunday but, despite this globular warming thing, it's still bleedin' arctic outside), so what are we doing next?
I have to be at the Gawsworth gig (incidentally, this year the £5 does not get you into the house, that's and extra quid) but any of the other suggested venues would be fine too. ![]() |

Gawsworth Hall - Ancient Cheshire Manor House
5th of May. I'm guessing a dog on a lead would be ok. I'll probably go myself if the weather's ok.
