Who in their right mind would go about on a Saturday or Sunday with a crested tie?

No, hang on, who in their right mind would go about on ANY day of the week, with a crested tie? Who wears a tie at all, these days?

I agree that The Turf is an excellent pub, despite everything.

Almost anything would be quicker than an Exakta at taking pictures, even if you are left handed

You'll be a dead cert for being reported by Joe Public for taking photos and "looking odd" Hope nobody shouts "Look out, he's going to shoot!!!" Be prepared to make the acquaintance of the armed response team, Robert ...

Andy, after your mention in this week's AP I think it's only fair that you 'push the envelope' on our behalf and take the pistol grip.

Can we pick a day on which the &%@%! M40 isn't shut? I got caught both ways today. On the way back a journey that should have taken less than 80 mins took a shade under three and half hours...

Regards,

Bill

Me? In AP? Bugger. What's that all about? Our friends in blue/yellow?

Had an email in the week from someone looking for "the andybarton". I think they mean me.

They work for some online magazine thing and are looking for the story. I'll send them to the two threads here.

Yes, in much more innocent times longer lenses were designed with shoulder stocks and pistol grips....

Sadly, they frequently did provide a steadier hold on the lens for wildlife and long range shots....oops !! - I mean exposures...oops !! - I mean captures....oops !! - I mean images...

Sometimes it's difficult to be politically correct....
