Hi Rolo, I only have an f2 50mm Leicanon Summicron, not Summilux, but if you'd like me to bring it along with the relevant adaptor let me know.

Very kind of you Steve. I'd like to try that. I'll find you a seat where it's too much trouble to ask you to go to the bar.

Pass his wallet, Pete.

Bah, Humbug. I'm tempted to bring my stereo reflex Ernemann and show you what a real camera is like- none of this half width cine-film rubbish.

(well maybe not because the 300,000 shutter activations life expectancy is only 10 hours at full bore). Like Elan's Pana, it would actually be a Leica with a Solms sourced lens.

Steeeeeeve ..... ??

Get David to bring along a 'lux or two, then we can all have some fun.

On appro, of course ...

Any requests for any of my stable? I'd like to see you use the 560 Telyt around town, and not get arrested.

Actually if he's got any sense he'll bring samples of the new Summarits - this time I'm being serious. Might lead to a few sales in the New Year. Nothing to lose - I'm sure he can out sprint any of us if we try to do a runner!

Falstaff does not need to focus – he uses an M7 which for those in the know, is a --- point and shoot.

I am going to solms on Monday. Will 20 summarits be enough? and which focal length do you want.? I am sure Leica could do something special for a xmas party where probably £100k of leica gear will be attending

£100k only covers Steve's bag.

The contents of Steve's bag are not worth quite as much

(Leather Billinghams are Hens' Teeth rare ...)

The bag's showing its age, the leather has worn through in a couple of places. I seem to remember someone posting a link to what looked like an identical bag but not made by Billingham.

I'm to the west of Manchester, rather than the south, but it's crap here at the moment. Rain, no light, it's grim up north.
