That's why it would be called the New York 'Challenge'...
Actually, on a serious point, it would be worth reserving one venue, say once every 5 years, to try to pull evryone together for a 'worldide' challenge - Don't ask me how to do it or where but it's a nice idea..... ![]()

I've just booked a 3 night stay in Krakow between Christmas and New Year. So it's bound to win the contest for next year's venue and I'll have to go a second time <grin>

Just learnt this morning about 9 new Schengen countries :
E.U. officials said the opening of the borders with the nine countries - Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic and Malta - will be marked with ceremonies at various old border crossings one minute after midnight on Dec. 21. Source : UPDATE:EU Nations Endorse Expansion Of Borderless Travel Zone - EasyBourse actualité Which means, in the above list, only Dublin remains un reachable for me next year. Which means also, my travelling plan will grow and I'll be spending much more money the comming years. Oh well... Can I reconsider my vote? Hsin Last edited by chouhsin : 11/09/07 at 09:57 AM. |

Good news. See you next year! If you do want to change you're vote, try sending a PM to Andy Barton, he might be able to do that for you - I don't know that for sure, but it's worth a try.

Not so much a reccie, more a way of not wasting the holidays between Christmas and New Year. I'm there for three nights from the 27th of December.

Well, there's a week to go, and we currently have a tie.
In the event that this is still the case next week, I propose a sudden death play-off between destinations that are tied. I also propose that the vote should remain open only for 48 hours, in order to get it over and done with. Any objections?

Shouldn't we have a dance off on Sunday night, then let the judges decide? Len has the casting vote, of course.
