Leica friends are invited for a 2 days Leica user weekend that will take place on 6th and 7nd September 2014.

 

We are planning to stay the first day in Trier (D) and the second day in Luxembourg city.

 

During the first day we propose the following programme:


11:00-12:00 Meet and greet at the Brunnenhof Cafe/Bar near the Porta Nigra;


12:00-18:00 Tour in Trier, places that will be visited are: Trierer Dom, Porta Nigra, Market place, Basilika, old city walls, roman thermal bath, Judengasse, 3-Königshaus;


19:00- : Dinner at the Krokodil restaurant in Trier;


23:00 - 00:00 Nightshooting at the central market place

 

On Sunday we will be visiting Luxembourg city:


9:00 departure Trier, either by train (8:52) or by several cars, depending on the number of participants;


10:00-13:00 Fototour in Luxembourg city, places that will be visited are: gelle Fra, Cathedral Notre Dame, Place d’armes, Palais of the grand duke, Neumünster Abbey, Luxembourg Grund…….


13:00-15:00 Lunch in a British pub in the Grund


15:00 departure to Trier (or travelling home or staying in Luxembourg with David)


16:00 Caffee and Cake at the Brunnenhof café in Trier

 

Here are a few hotel recommendations for Trier:


4-Star: Penta Hotel Europahalle (145 Euro)

3-Star: Altstadt (93 €)


3-Star budget: Pieper (60€)

Bin gerade von einer Reise zurück und kann daher erst jetzt antworten:

Werde an dem Treffen gerne mit meiner Frau teilnehmen und habe auch schon ein Hotel gebucht.

 

Dann könnten wir ja fast eine Fahrgemeinschaft bilden...

ich werde am Samstag in Trier auch dabei sein, wenn nicht alles schiefgehen sollte :)

@ ALL PARTICIPANTS:

please take note that the meeting place for the 6th September at 11:00h in Trier has changed to the Brunnenhof Cafe/Bar that is located near the Porta Nigra.

Besides coffee and other drinks there will be a limited choice of food available for the hungry photographers!

Sorry for the change!

Dear Leica Friends!

Just a small update for our upcoming event in Trier & Luxembourg!

 

Weather forecast for the region is great! On both days 25C and no rain!:D

20 persons have registered so far, so there are 5 more places left!

The event is of course free of charge!

 

So if you have time and would like to join us, please register above!:)
