Spring into Bath, April 19th, Easter Saturday

I am starting to put together a meet for spring of 2014

 

Rather than Bristol, this time it will be in the beautiful city of Bath!

 

All are welcome !!!

 

If you would like to join in but have dates in April that you cannot

make, please let me know and I'll try my best to arrange a date

that suits all.

 

If we have enough interest I will pop in to Ace Cameras and see if

they would like to be involved.

I might be interested as I used to live in Bath - I bought my first M6 from Ace Cameras (or Tripps as it was then.)

 

It is now a bit of a way away, but it would be nice to join you if possible.

 

However, Easter weekend is very busy for me and I could not do then. I suspect that there might be others with family holidays on that weekend, but maybe not. I haven't yet got my work schedule for Easter week, but I'm still interested.

Sounds like a plan and I'm up for it, Dave. Can I suggest a post-11.30 start to give those of us travelling by train from the smoke a chance to get there with the likely unaccommodating Sunday timetable please?

 

Incidentally, Network Rail is electrifying the Great Western mainline so it might choose the extended bank holiday weekend to plan a full blockade with no train services at all but engineering works (whoops, I mean "Railway Improvements":rolleyes: ) beyond February are not published yet.

Easter Day wouldn't work for me unfortunately. If I am in the UK for that weekend then I would be expected to be with my family on the Sunday. I could make the Saturday more easily....

Surely that's only a matter of plugging a very big extention cable into a 15amps socket on Paddington station, then attaching the reel onto the end on a Cornwall express.

Yes, I'd love to come on Saturday. Easter Sunday tends to be the day I reserve for getting a b*llocking for not buying my wife an Easter egg (again).
