Pascal, sorry to hear that you can't make it. Maybe next year instead.
I've been in contact with Leica UK over the last couple of days and once again they'll be providing a prize for the winner (or more precisly two prizes for the winner, both of which may have red dots on them - don't get _too_ excited). Since it's his baby this year I'll leave the official announcement to Andy.

One month to go folks, so I have bounced this back to the top.
As Steve has said, I can officially announce that Leica have once again generously offered a prize for the winner, but I'd rather keep the nature of the prize to ourselves until the day. Suffice to say that we are very grateful for their continued support and they have expressed a desire to see all the entires at the appropriate time. Anyone have a contact at LFI to whom we can speak? Thanks, and I look forward to meeting with friends old and new this time next month.

I have dropped an email to
www.brauerei-lemke.de to let them know we are coming... When I get home I will confirm the whole lot in a new, refreshed thread. I am afraid that it looks like those of us staying over will have to fend for ourselves on the Saturday evening, as it has proven very difficult to find a suitable venue from such a distance, but I am sure we could pal up in smaller groups to be arranged on the day if this is what people wish. I also have Andreas' PM, so will be in contact through him to LFI, to see if they would be interested in covering us as a "news" story. So, watch this space... more news at 9.
