Venue: - I recall a pub that was the venue for a meeting a while ago - a summer visit by some US forum members - a morgan was involved IIRC? Belgravia? Mayfair?
I'm not a pub goer usually so I would be at a loss to make a serious recommendation.

I think you mean the Grenadier, favourite pub of Mr Lamb. Depends how many people are coming, and if they want to lunch. The bar is very small and most tables are in the restaurant - which is more of a restaurant than pub grub. Lovely location though.

I can make some other suggestions.....The Cheshire Cheese, The Blackfriar, The Porterhouse, a pub review I read the other day about a place in Hampstead........so many pubs so little time!

Well we seem to be assembling a small gathering, but the question remians asto where to meet.
I am hopeless at pub choice - most of the names mean absolutely nothing to me, far less their location.
