Default London calling

I'll be in London for a few days in June and was wondering if anyone wants to join for lunch or dinner or the like? I will be available from 21st to 25th June.

Any suggestions welcome, I've never been to London so it would be nice to meet some of you guys and get some valuable insider info about places to be in London

cheers,
Marc

I could manage 21 or 22 for lunch - and ironically I leave for HK on the 24th!

Brian, sounds good to me. Lets keep an eye on 21st and 22nd. I'd also prefer a meeting asap so I can get some advice where to go and what to do for the remaining days.

Funny you going to HK and me going to London. Are you going for business or pleasure?

Purely pleasure - if you can count shopping (mostly for camera stuff) as pleasure. My L1 is destined for some presents!

Shopping is definitely a pleasure until you're required to pull your purse and pay for your shoppings ...at least for Leica stuff.

My trip to London is close and I was wondering if anyone has some recommendations on good shops for developing film and also offering scanning service.

I'm not sure if I also take my film gear but just in case it would be nice to have one or two reliable sources.

I've always been happy with Snappy Snaps (chain - branches all over). They can process/scan in an hour, scans are low res but fine for web or small prints.

James, thanks for your reply.
I was quite disappointed with Fotomax here in Hong Kong, also a chain. Hope this one is better.
Do you happen to remember what they charge for development of one 36 film plus 4x6 inch prints and CD/scan?
