Benelux meeting October 14th
Hi,
Hoppy is visiting Amsterdam and we scheduled a meeting on the 14th. I'll try to make an interesting program. At least we'll make sure we will have plenty of time to shoot some pictures. We will meet around noon and will have dinner in the evening. Exact details will be announced later. Anybody who wants to join us for a pleasant day is welcome. Hi,
As announced a few weeks ago the Benelug will meet Hoppy next sunday in Amsterdam. We've kept the program quite open to suit the weather and the wishes of the day. We can wander through the city, do a boat tour, visit several photo museums etc. We will start at 13:00 at Hoppy's hotel:Amsterdam B&B - Palace bed and breakfast - luxury B&B with rooms and suites – central Amsterdam Around 18:00 we will start drinking beer in this place:Cafe Gollem - homepage (they say they have Westvleteren!) Around 20:00 we will have dinner at a place we have not yet picked. You are all invited to join. Leica's are nice but not mandatory. As long as you are interested in a nice Sunday afternoon of shooting in the company of people with the same hobby, you are more than welcome. A few people have showed interest also from the RFF and the LUG. Weather forecast looks oke. AW: Benelux meeting October 14th
I personally would have preferred to meet already in the morning to go out to take pictures - why only at 13.00? A longer day of photography may make it worth coming to Amstertdam for many more people. or?

It's just a choice. Some people might want to start early others won't Including dinner it will be a long day anyhow. How much wandering can you do on a day? No problem for people to start early on their own. Best regards, Michiel Fokkema |
