Sorry people - Marilyn and I can't make it again this year! We'll have to content ourselves with the UK Seaside Challenge until October next year. Have a great time!

I am sorry to say that I cannot join this year event. As I see my family only every three months at the moment I cannot justify to myself to spent any holidays without them.

Nevertheless, I can only recommend to everybody to attend the challenge if possible.

All the best and a joyful event to everybody who is lucky to participate.

Regards,
Steve

Steve,

I'm very sorry to hear that you won't be able to come but of course your family must come first.

On the other hand it could be an opportunity to bring your family for a holiday in Palermo!

Pete.

Pete,
you are right. Actually I was thinking about a coincidential family meeting just half way in between Germany and Egypt. But even ignoring the additionally costs the challenge is outside the school holidays.

Steve

Hello,

I am very new to the Leica world, but I'm looking forward to meeting some of you now after having read your message threads years ago when I first considered taking the plunge. This challenge will be perfect, since I only have one range finder lens at the moment!

See you on the 15th of October in Palermo!

Hi,
I am committing to Palermo. Coming with my husband. I would love to book 2 for dinner, if possible.

The tally for dinner is currently:

Confirmed
Andybarton (2)
Topfloor (2)
Erl
Octo
Bill (2)
Lanetomlane (2)
Nick De Marco (2)
StS
Larsv
Spylaw4
Mauribix
Achille
DanBachmann (2)
Ferdinand
JanaStein (2)
Farnz
[23]

Yet to confirm
Robert_Parker

I'd be grateful if those who have expressed interest but have yet to confirm, and any others who wish to join us for dinner, would very kindly confirm so I can let the restaurant know please?

I had already booked for 25 for good measure but if I need to increase the numbers then I'd like to do so soon to avoid disappointment.

Pete.

This looks like a good gathering, despite some regulars being sadly unable to come along.

Unless I've missed it - in which case slap my wrist and point me in the right direction - don't we usually have an informal meet-up on the Friday evening somewhere? If so where are we gathering this time? simplest would obviously be where we are lunching next day, but is there anywhere else? Pete...?
