Thank you Jack. He clearly thinks, as I do, that there is something unique, beautiful and valuable about silver B&W prints. Their magic has not been equaled or displaced by anything else.

 

Colour photographs are another matter.

 

But colour photography and B&W photography are not different flavours of the same thing. They are independent art forms, with much less in common than is usually assumed.
